Gaza – The Palestine Journalism Hub continues to implement a series of journalism writing workshops in Gaza, under the supervision of journalist and trainer Mayshara Al-Haj, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance journalists’ capacities to produce professional content that reflects community issues with depth and responsibility.
These workshops focus on developing journalism writing skills through a combination of individual and group brainstorming, along with intensive practical exercises that help participants transform their ideas into coherent, impactful journalistic reports.
In this context, trainer Mayshara Al-Haj stated:
“The journalism writing workshop was a serious opportunity and an intensive interactive space that combined individual and collective brainstorming with practical exercises, enabling participants to turn their ideas into professional journalistic reports that are solidly written and capable of creating real impact.”
She added:
“The strong enthusiasm and engagement I observed among participants reflect a deep passion for learning journalism writing skills and conveying their voices with awareness and responsibility.”
Al-Haj emphasized that this experience comes within an exceptional context, noting:
“After years of continuous coverage under the fire of war, we can stand again and try to extend a helping hand to every journalist who seeks to move forward—so that no one is left behind.”
These workshops are part of the Palestine Journalism Hub’s programs aimed at supporting independent journalists and creating interactive learning spaces that enhance the quality of media production, while contributing to building a more connected, resilient, and resistance-oriented journalistic network.
