Hebron – Journalist Asmaa Al Masalmeh documents in her report the reality of closed neighborhoods in Hebron and how barriers and restrictions on movement deepen residents’ isolation, amid conditions that intensify pressure and displacement.
The story is one of the outputs of the Independent Journalism Fellowship 2026, implemented by the Palestine Journalism Hub (PJH), with the participation of 20 journalists from across the West Bank.
The fellowship combines training, individual mentoring, and support for the production of independent journalistic stories that address community issues and provide greater space for people’s voices and experiences.
