Journalist Istabraq Mousa documents the story of Hajjah Naima, 74, who still walks several kilometers every day to reach her land.
Her daily journey embodies a story of resilience, steadfastness, and a refusal to leave, despite the difficult journey and the challenges she faces.
The story is one of the outputs of the Independent Journalism Fellowship 2026, implemented by the Palestine Journalism Hub (PJH), with the participation of 20 journalists from across the West Bank.
The fellowship combines training, individual mentoring, and support for the production of independent journalism rooted in community issues and providing greater space for people’s voices and experiences.
